Moving West!

Hilly Hillness

About two-and-a-half years ago I packed up all my belongings and moved to Philadelphia. The reasons were plentiful, but for the most part… I just wanted a change. And the same is true again! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Philly, but I’m ready for my next adventure. Where-to this time? San Francisco!!! (notice my excitement with 3 exclamation points)

In a few days I’ll be boarding a plane to San Francisco and staying for 8 days. I’ve got a few interviews/meetings lined up and will be spending as much free time as possible looking at apartments. Hopefully I can snag a nice studio/1-br in the Nob Hill/Russian Hill area. It’s all a little daunting (to say the least), but extremely exciting. I’m leaving behind a bunch of amazing friends, and a pretty fantastic work environment at Urban Outfitters. However, I head to a place where I have a sister less than an hour away, good friends from college in the neighborhood, crazy hills (woo?), and (hopefully) a fantastic new job at a great company.

Wish me luck! And when I get back from my trip, I’ll be sure to share all the details on the new job and apartment. As well as some info on some Urban Outfitters stuff.

Booooooooooo! Hissssssss! We’re going to miss you here. I can’t blame you for wanting to move to San Fran, but Philly is going to miss you nonetheless.

You should move into Alcatraz, like those American Indians did in the 70’s. Low rent, and LOTS of publicity.

Wow, it takes a lot to just pack up and move like that. I commend you. Will you be starting a San Fran blog like you did for Philly? Best of luck on the new coast.
