For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been talking to friends and family a lot… mostly about my brother’s new baby and about my recent birthday. Another popular topic of discussion is that girl I met a couple months ago. So, I said to myself “self, I bet those crazies on the internet are curious to know what’s going on too”.

For those new to the blog, let me give you a brief history of events to bring you up to speed…

  1. 1st date - Friday, June 17th (Dinner & Ice-Cream)
  2. 2nd date - Saturday, June 25th (South Street)
  3. 3rd date - Tuesday, June 28th (Gavin DeGraw Concert)

…and there you have it, our dating history. Yeah, we haven’t seen each other since the concert. We’ve talked on the phone and online a little bit, but things just fizzled out for some reason. I’m not exactly sure why, but the spark that was there on the first two dates, just didn’t seem to be there on the 3rd.

And you know when you don’t see someone for a while, you start missing them and want to see each other as soon as possible. That didn’t really happen for me. Which is probably why I’m fine with things being over. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a great girl and we had a wonderful time together; but that special something just wasn’t there. I wished it was, but what can you do.

Sounds like your becoming a regular in the dating scene, sweeeeeet. If nothing else, the experience alone will help for the many more dates you go on. Get it dogg!….Get it!!!! haha
