Yesterday (July 16th) was my birthday and just about the only thing I did was go to Ikea and then do laundry. Not that exciting, I know, but today my parents and sister came to visit so that was nice. They brought cake and presents while I provided the gloomy/rainy Philadelphia weather. I think it was a good trade.
No worries though, we did make it to lunch before the rain started. Of course, the rain stopped just after we had retreated back to my apartment due to lack of protection (aka, umbrellas) from the horror that is… WATER!! Oh well, all in all it was a good afternoon and a good visit with “the fam”. Here, enjoy some pics of cake and presents…
