The Big Picture

Ginormous

When starting a new web site project (whether you’re the client or the service provider), it’s always important to take a moment to look at The Big Picture. In other words, sit back and ask yourself… what do I want to accomplish?  What do I want this site to ultimately do? Is it selling a product, building a brand, providing information?

Sure, all the little details like how many products get displayed on a page, or whether the menu should be vertical or horizontal are important. But, we all need to keep in mind that, fundamentally, these pieces all have to come together for a larger purpose. Will the orientation of the menu matter if the entire point of the site was lost in the shuffle?

Just something to think about when you start your next project.
