Local Search

Have you experienced the wonder that is local search?  Here, let me give you a link to Google’s site.  As someone who just moved to Philadelphia, I have found it to be invaluable when looking for services, restaurants, etc.

For example, one of the first things I needed to find was a new bed for my new apartment.  So, off to local search I went… typed in “mattress” and then “Philadelphia”.  Not only did I get a nice list of local mattress sellers, Google also provided a map showing where those sellers were located.  How convenient is THAT!?

Next up, I wanted to see where the closest Italian restaurants were… just in case I felt like eating out.  Lucky for me, there are several only a few blocks away from where I live.

My reason for mentioning all of this is to ask a simple question… “Can I find YOUR business through local search?”  If not, have you considered how much business you might be losing?  Just something to think about…
