Freelance: The End

For Now…

Wow, that was quick. I had been “officially” doing freelance for all of 1 day before I got the job offer I alluded to in a previous post. Freelance was looking really promising, but after giving it some thought, I decided to accept the offer.

The reason for my decision was 3-fold…

  1. Stable Income - The biggest fear (for me) about going freelance was the loss of a stable income. Sure, I had some money saved for any lulls in work that might occur, but having a consistent paycheck is pretty sweet.
  2. Freelance Isn’t Going Anywhere - It’s not. If the job doesn’t work out, I can pick up right where I left off and go back to freelance.
  3. Great Opportunity - The job I was offered is an amazing opportunity to do a lot of great work on a pretty high-profile site. I’d be a fool to pass this up.

“What is this Great Opportunity?” you ask. Well, on November 13th I’ll be joining the design team at Urban Outfitters. Yeah, pretty fantastic, right?

Haha! Congratulations! They’re lucky to have you. I think your first order of business should be to get this image off their website. Please.
