Buzz Words and Phrases

Here at the Pixelworthy office, we’ve started a list of buzz words and phrases that are so bad, they’re good! Let me give you a few examples:

  • Leverage
  • Repurpose
  • Turn-Key
  • Enterprise
  • Framework
  • Mission Critical

We have several more, but I just wanted to give you an idea of what we’re talking about. You know, the terms that made a big splash in the late 90’s when everyone was trying to describe the web in new and fancy ways. “Our turn-key solutions will leverage your existing enterprise framework to further improve software conversion.” Does anyone even know what that means? Yeah, it got pretty bad. One of my favorites (which hasn’t yet been added to our list) is Bleeding Edge… because, for some reason, Cutting Edge just didn’t go far enough? I don’t know either.

So, what are your favorite buzz words and phrases?
