Dear Sweater Makers and Designers of the world… please stop with the horizontal stripes. Seriously, why is it that every sweater I see for sale is either a solid color (good), or has horizontal stripes (bad). No vertical stripes to be found.

Dear Sweater Makers and Designers of the world… please stop with the horizontal stripes. Seriously, why is it that every sweater I see for sale is either a solid color (good), or has horizontal stripes (bad). No vertical stripes to be found.

Don’t you know that vertical stripes are slimming! And horizontal stripes do the EXACT OPPOSITE. And as someone who is actively trying to get into shape, trying on items of clothing with horizontal stripes is a constant reminder of my horrible physique… *commence sobbing*

So, I guess, thanks for making me feel self-conscious… jerks.
